Hello my community, friends & family I have a question.
Would you support my trip/book project to South Africa to connect face to face with disabled artists/activists who some have started a Krip-Hop chapter? I have been making contact with disabled artists/activists in Africa for the last four years. I’m thinking to start an indiegogo campaign to cover my accommodation there, cost of the book and pocket money for food etc for a month. I want to ask first if there is support. The main awards would be the book and art/writings/music from the trip. So far I have a publisher who wants to publish this book, Blacktastic.net. So tell me would you support this in an Indiegogo campaign.
Trip: South Africa June 2016. Krip-Hop Nation/I have been connecting with disabled artists/musicians/activists in Africa through the internet for the last five years. I have written articles about disabled musicians in African, helped with a campaign to get two wheelchairs to Uganda and collaborated on music and news pieces that played on radio or been published in newspapers and more. In South African and Uganda disabled musicians formed a Krip-Hop chapter in their countries. After years of communicating on social networks like Facebook, it is time to meet face to face, thus a trip to South Africa.
