To Congo Handicap
Hello I’m Leroy F. Moore Jr. of Krip-Hop Nation based in Berkeley, CA USA & this is an official letter of collaboration between Krip-Hop Nation & CongoHandicap. In this collaboration, Krip-Hop Nation (KHN) agree to promote the work of Handicap Congo that falls under artistic expression, political struggles facing people with disabilities in the Congo and will write articles or post videos, audio, pictures and statements coming from Congo
Handicap. Together we can fundraise for projects tthat benefits us and people with disabilities in the Congo, on the Africa continent. Krip-Hop Nation at this time can’t make a financial donations on an ongoing basis but can help plan with enough time an online fundraiser that can benefit both parties like Krip-Hop going to the Congo to do a tour or equipment like video cameras to report the news there in the Congo so it can be used for a radio show etc.
Krip-Hop Nation is an international network of Hip-Hop & other musicians with disabilities with a few chapters around the world what we call Mcees With Disabilities (MWD) in Germany, UK & Africa & more. Krip-Hop is a
community as well as style of music, an artistic space where people with disabilities can speak out and speak back to the social structures that exclude people based on disability, race, sexuality, and a host of other marginalized identities. Founding members are Leroy F. Moore Jr., Keith Jones & Rob ‘Da Noize Temple. Krip-Hop Nation mission is to educate the music, media industries and general public about the talents, history, rights and marketability of Hip-Hop artists and other musicians with disabilities from Blues to Hip-Hopinternationally. Our bi-line is Krip-Hop is More Than Music.
2017 is our tenth anniversary and in those ten years we have traveled the world and our latest was South Africa, put on conferences and lectures at Harvard University, Tangled Arts Festival in Toronto & recently at Whitney
Museum in New York. Leroy is writing a Krip-Hop book & our latest CD celebrating our tenth anniversary has the legendary D.M.C. from Run-D.M.C, Wonder Mike from the Sugarhill Gang. I thank you for your attention and look forward in working together. I suggest we have a Skype meeting to see what can be our first project together.
