Black Disabled Art History 101, Leroy children’s book dropped back in November 2017 now he has put together a slide show/presentation that shows off some of the original illustrations of artists by Asian Robles, pictures of the artists, videos ands Leroy”s story telling poem-songs all in the book. This slideshow is for all ages and gives a colorful picture and real stories of Black Disabled artists from back in the day like 1880 to today from dancers, painters, musicians, actors/actresses some have/had physical disabilities to Deaf to mental health to autism and more. The presentation/slideshow is about an hour and half and the powerpoint was made on a mac and will be on a thumb drive. Bring this slideshow/presentation to your school, youth program, conferences or art venues. Good for Black History Month, Disability Awareness week/month and art/music class or events.
